Balloons-General Information

Balloons-General Information:

    • All balloons are sold uninflated.  They may be inflated at any store that carries balloons for a fee.
    • Helium can be expensive.  If you are intending to inflate your balloon(s) with helium please find a store that will do it and consult with them on the price. They should have charts to help figure out how much helium is needed and be able to give you a price for inflation.
    • All balloons can be inflated with air - of course they won't float, but they will still look good!
    • To deflate Mylar/foil balloons for re-use you can use a small straw and CAREFULLY work it into the valve stem until the valve opens and you can flatten, fold and store it for re-inflation later.  If the valve stem has been heat sealed the only way to save it for later is to cut above the seal line and proceed with the step above.
    • NOTE: Any Mylar/foil balloon that has a self-sealing valve is very fragile and MAY NOT work as well a second time. In fact, the self-sealing valve will not last through very many inflation-deflation cycles, so be prepared to get a new balloon if you plan on using them repeatedly.
