Welcome to Horse Play!

I have worked a long time to bring together all the fun things in this store and have done all the pictures and everything else myself. I hope you like it and find something you can't live without!

A short introduction may be in order...

I'm 51 years old now and have loved horses, zebras and donkeys for as long as I can remember.  For years now I've wanted to be able to pull as many things including fun and horses together into one place.  I remember going into a feed store or looking at a catalog where they only had a few toys or gifts that were really good quality for horse-people. I wanted to be able to provide one place where most of the best gifts and toys could be bought without having to shop 100 different stores.

I also found out I'm really a kid at heart and have more fun with these great gifts and toys now than I ever did when I was young.  So, whether you have a horse-crazy kid in your house or just love the beauty and grace of these wonderful creatures and want something for yourself I hope you'll find yourself at home here.

I do this all alone. I don't have anyone to help me yet, so please bear with me as I learn the ropes and work on making this store the greatest place in the world to find fun and unique horse-related gifts. I promise I'll do my best.

Well, there's probably a lot more I could say, but for a first blog I'm going to leave it at this. I don't have much in the store just yet, though I have a LOT of stuff ready to go. I'll be adding new items frequently for some time to come, so come back often and sign up for our RSS feed to keep abreast of new developments! I'll also try to keep up with this blog. It's kind of a new idea, but I have a lot of cool things still to come and hope to share some of them with you here.
